DIGITAL COMICS, CONS, AND CROWDFUNDING

March 23,2022 saw the digital release of Kaneesha. This graphic novel, written by Ben Miller and art by Randy Steward, had a physical release a few years ago but is now available for digital readers via Globalcomix . Click here to check it out along with our other Globalcomix releases.
April 15-17 Guerrilla Publishing returns to Indianapolis for Indiana Comic Con. We have some special guests lined up for the weekend and some titles making their ICC debut. This year will be a bit different as Guerrilla Publishing will be in the vendor area and not in artist alley.
April 24,2022 will the see the official launch of the 3YMM’s Motor City Mo Issue 4 Kickstarter. This single issue is complete and will need the help funding the print costs. The rewards will include a four issue bundle, a shirt, boxing gloves, and more. Tune into our social media as we will be posting pages and photos of the rewards.

GUERRILLA PUBLISHING AND GLOBALCOMIX

As we look forward to all that 2022 will bring us, one of our continued efforts is forging new bonds with creators and publishers the world over. Every new partnership means that we’re able to bring even more comics to fans around the world.

Today we are thrilled to welcome the team at Guerrilla Publishing to GlobalComix. Founded by Julio A. Guerra, Ben Miller, and Adam Farster, the trio seeks to bring underground comics to the mainstream. They publish books, comics, and graphic novels in a variety of genres that are sure to delight readers.

"We are beyond excited to join forces with Globalcomix. It is with this partnership that we are looking to expand our reach around the world of fans new and old," said Julio A. Guerra, Co-Founder at Guerrilla Publishing.  

"This will be the first time ever that the entire Guerrilla Publishing library will be available digitally,” Guerra continues, “February 23 we will launch with two titles then starting March 23 we will have a new title up every two weeks for the rest of the year. This will include classic titles such as Kaneesha and brand new titles such as Ralphs Bones in the Attic and more." 
As of today, you can enjoy two Guerrilla Publishing titles on GlobalComix – Tales from the Cryptic Closet #1, and Marty & Spud Exclusive Collection. More titles and releases will come out throughout the year, so make sure to follow Guerrilla Publishing to get notifications each time something new is released.

To go along with today’s announcement, Guerrilla Publishing is raising awareness around their current Kickstarter campaign, Marty and Spud: The Castle of the Lost Land. The great thing about this campaign is that the book is ready to go – it just needs a bit of funding to go to print.

2/17/22 Update

Marty & Spud Kickstarter Is Now Live!

Matthew Hansel (Artist of Underdog) has launched the Kickstarter for his first ever creator own graphic novel, Marty & Spud: The Castle of the Lost Land. Marty and Spud started off as a daily strip on various online comic sites, then came to physical form in convention exclusives, and now they will be in a graphic novel. The campaign started at NWI Comic Con on 2/12/22 and run to 3/12/22. You can back the project by Clicking Here. The rewards vary from books to shirts to stickers to original art and commissions.

NWI COMC CON EXCLUSIVE AND SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE

We are doing our best to make the home show the biggest, yesterday 1/25/22 we announced that we will have two time Eisner Award Nominee Rafael Nieves (Marvel Comics, Moonstone, Guerrilla Publishing) doing a signing at our booth from 2-3pm during NWI COMIC CON.
Matthew Hansel will have a NWI COMIC CON Exclusive Marty and Spud titled “Special Delivery”. This issue will only be available at the Guerrilla Publishing booth during the show. Make sure to come by and get your copy as they are limited.

Motor City Mo News

Motor City Mo issue four will available for a very limited time. There will only be 100 copies of the next installment MCM with only two ways to purchase. 1/17/22 Update

NWI COMIC CON EXCLUSIVE PT. 1

For the next few weeks leading up to NWI Comic Con (February 12,2022), we will be posting our show exclusives, yea more than one this time, and highlighting the creatives who will be joining us. To kick it off we we are going to have very limited copies of “Lush” the book that started it all. Lush was created in 2017 ( 5 years ago) by the Lab Creative, which would later become Guerrilla Publishing. This anthology features the talents of Adam Farster, Ashley Esper, Ben Miller, Bill Halliar, Jack Gonzalez, Julio A. Guerra, Lisa Jones and Topher Kearby. This book will only be available at NWI Comic Con for the titles five year anniversary. Make sure to stop by our booth and get this piece of Guerrilla Publishing history while supplies last.

1/10/22 Update

MARTY & SPUD COMING SOON AND MORE!!!

Last week via social media, we announced the launch of the Marty and Spud Kickstarter in February. Matthew Hansel (Underdog artist and 3D production for Image comic’s Hellcop and Guerrilla Publishing’s Tales from the Cryptic Closet 3D) will embark on a new adventure with bringing Marty & Spud to comic book form for the very first time. This book follows the pair of Mary and his pet cat Spud on dangerous, action packed adventures in reality and in their imagination. We will announce the official launch date for this project next week.

Also with a bit over a month before NWI Comic Con (2/12/22). We will like to debut the promo vide announcing the guest that will be at the Guerrilla Publishing booth. Click the link to see the video.

CREATOR UPDATE

Fresh off the convention floor of Chicago’s C2E2, we are proud to announce that Rafael Nieves will be joining Guerrilla Publishing with his own creator own title. Rafael’s thirty year career features titles such as Hellstorm and the Phantom for Marvel comics and Moonstone. A Kickstarter for his Guerrilla Publishing title will launch in 2022.

NEW TITLE COMING TO GUERRILLA PUBLISHING!

Guerrilla Publishing has teamed up with Michigan’s own Three Y’s Men Media to become the new publishers of Motor City Mo. Motor City Mo created by Three Y’s Men Media made it’s Kickstarter debut in May 2018. In 2021, the first three issues of this title will be making it’s Guerrilla Publishing debut at C2E2 Dec 10-12, 2021. Want to know more about MCM:

C2E2 announcement week continues. Bill Halliar (Creature Designer, Creator of the “Let’s Draw” books, and artist for “Tales from the Cryptic Closet” series) will be joining us at this year’s C2E2. The Ralphs Are Coming!!!

For the first time ever, Guerrilla Publishing will be collecting the first three issues of Ashely Esper’s The Ralphs. “Bones In The Attic '' will feature a brand new issue continuing the cliffhanger from Volume 2, plus bonus short stories from other titles they were featured in such as Tales from the Cryptic Closet and The Epic Misadventures of Deathbag. For fans of all eras of Warner Bros. cartoons ranging from the classic Looney Tunes to Animaniacs, The Ralphs are for you.

Mark your calendars for September 15, 2021 as The Ralphs head to Kickstarter. This campaign will feature digital and physical copies of the “Bones In The Attic” collection, stickers, digital coloring pages, commissions from Ralphs creator Ashley Esper, and more. To kick off launch day, Ashley Esper will be doing a week-long tour. Her appearance dates are as follows:

Tales from the Cryptic Closet 3 Update

We are excited to announce three new creatives/ special guests for Tales from the Cryptic Closet 3D. Andy “Shaggy” Korty will be joining the creative team. Best known for his work with Empire Comics, as an artist on titles such as The Manor, and Cemetery Plots, Kory will join forces with Ben Miller on a suspenseful tale.

Along with the release of the Kickstarter promotional video, Danhausen was announced as he will be doing the forward to open the spin chilling installment of the Tales franchise. Danhausen, is a independent wrestling star who has made shockwaves throughout the pop culture word by appearing on Conan Needs a Friend, Oral Sessions with Renee, Talk is Jericho, and recently appearing on the cover of Image Comics’ Commander in Crisis. You can also see him wrestle on Ring of Honor TV.

Rounding out the trio is Ryan Barkan. Barkan is the Founder/CEO of Pro Wrestling Tees, the leading name in pro wrestling apparel. Ryan has signed various wrestlers to the PWT brand ranging from independent wrestlers like Danhausen, Warhorse, and Matt Knicks, to companies such as AEW, NJPW, Impact, to legends of the industry such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, Macho Man Randy Savage, and more. He will be featured on the back cover as one of the heads that will be along side the Cryptic Creeper, the host of the Tales series.

Tales from the Cryptic Closet 3D will feature the talents of : Rafael Nieves (Marvel), Bill Halliar (Moonstone), Matthew Skillern (Upper Deck Sketch Card Artist), Nathan Erdel (Gentlemen Monster Productions), Ashley Esper (Skulls and Sketches), Ben Miller (Guerrilla Publishing), Adam Farster (Guerrilla Publishing), and Julio A. Guerra (Guerrilla Publishing) in collaboration with Vinny Malave and Moses Gibson of the Cryptic Closet, with a forward by Danhausen (Ring of Honor) and featuring Ryan Barkan (Pro Wrestling Tees) on the back cover.

Tales from the Cryptic Closet 3 Update

Announced on 7-1-21 the official launch date for the Tales from the Cryptic Closet 3 Kickstarter will be Wednesday July 28,2021. With that announcement news broke that the third installment of the series will be in eye popping 3D! You don’t have to go hunting for a pair of the red and blue lens specs as the book will come with custom TFTCC 3 3D glasses. On 7-28-21, Guerrilla Publishing Co-Founder Ben Miller, will be at Creative Comics in Griffith, IN for a special launch date meet and greet. Along with that Marvel Comics writer Rafael Nieves will be teaming with Cryptic Creeper creator Bill Halliar (Moonstone) for the first time ever for this issue. That’s not all, we have one more major announcement coming very soon.

We have been extremely busy with many coals in the fire lately. As some of you might know (via our social media) we have been teasing that a new talent has joined the Guerrilla Publishing bullpen. Today, we will like to officially announce that person. Please help us welcome Matthew Hansel!. Mr. Hansel (Underdog for American Mythology) will bringing his very first creator owned title to the Guerrilla Publishing lineup very soon.
Matthew will be joining Ben Miller at Screaming Money Comics (Munster,IN) for Free Comic Book Day on August 14,2021. Speaking of Free Comic Book Day here is were you can find the other talents from Guerrilla Publishing.
