FREE COMIC BOOK DAY IS MAY 2ND!
Saturday May 2, 2026 is Free Comic Book Day and Guerrilla Publishing will be in four different shops.
Ben Miller will be at Creative Comics in Griffith, IN. Ben will have all the Guerrilla titles available for purchase at his table. He will also be available for signings during the event.
Jon Parrish will be at Tenth Planet Comics in Schererville, IN. Jon makes his return to the shop that has been with him since day one. He will have all the comics he has worked on and will be available for signings.
Isaac Popovich will be at Happy Day Comics in Hammond, IN. This is a very special FCBD as it is the launch day for the Kickstarter of The Tombstone Toonies Collection Vol. 1. You will be able to back the project with the creator himself, pick up some of his work and get it signed.
Julio A. Guerra will be at First Aid Comics in Chicago, IL (Hyde Park Location). Julio will have free copies of Deathbag issue 2/ Nerdlife issue 1. That’s not all! There be free Deathbag stickers as well. He will also do a Deathbag sketch/remark on the free copies. Also if you purchase a copy of Hugo Criatura issue 1 you get a free Hugo sticker.
Make sure to mark you calendars and head out to one if not all these comic shops on one of the biggest day in the industry. However, make sure to support your Local Comic Shop, every week for new releases and back issues.
GUERRILLA PUBLISHING X BELA CON!
All the indie comics on the rise these days inspired Bela's Comics to support one of his favorite indie publishers, Guerrilla Publishing, by producing the first ever Bela Con exclusive variant for Hugo Criatura issue #1. This special edition features exclusive cover art by Julio A. Guerra homaging one of Todd McFarlane’s most iconic Hulk covers and is limited to only 150 copies. The book is already part of the Blast Radius universe created by J. Adam Farster.
The story follows a massive experimental creature created in a lab disaster that escapes and is hunted by the very people who made him. Think part Frankenstein, part Hulk, part kaiju movie as the monster struggles to survive in a world that sees him as nothing more than a threat.
This is a fun and affordable variant comic priced at just $5, making it an easy way to jump into a rising indie universe while supporting independent creators!
